Letters
In reply to the letter
pulished on The Scribe:
I just wanted to let you know that Jacob was
my father's younger brother, he was my Uncle.
I met him in the early sixties when he came to visit us
in Arlington, Virginia when I was twelve or thirteen years
old.
My mother and father were divorced. I was raised a Christian
as my mother was Christian.
Jacob was a wonderful man who used to write my twin brother
and I.
My father, Elias Namerdy, had changed the last letter of
his name to a ''y''. So my twin and I have a different spelling
of our last name.
My uncles other relatives are in Israel.
Sincerely yours,
Edward Namerdy
