THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS

AFRICAN/ASIAN ACQUISITIONS & OVERSEAS OPERATIONS DIVISION

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Dear Dr. Dangoor,
We have recently received your kind gifts of missing issues of the Scribe (25 items), Hagadah shel Pesah, Adi Zahav (parts 1 and 2), and Megilat Kohelet. Scholars and researchers will now have access to a complete set of The Scribe in the Library of Congress. The other titles complement our collection of works in Hebrew/Judeo-Arabic and will also remade available to scholars particularly those studying Iraqi Jewry now and in the future.
What a wonderful tribute to your grandfather Z''L, Rabbi (Haham Bashi) Ezra Reuben Dangoor, to have his books placed in the Library of Congress, where they will be read by the world scholarly community for many more years to come.

Again, thank you for your cooperation in making these items available to the Library of Congress.

Sincerely,

Gail Shirazi
Senior Acquisitions Specialist
