Dear Sir,
After much searching I stumbled across "The
Scribe" web site, with particular interest in
your page relating to the late Fredman Ashe Lincoln
Q.C. R.N.V.R.
What an excellent page, and a superb photograph to
boot.
My interest in Capt. Lincoln stems from the fact
that he is the previous owner of my yacht, the 1911
International Six Metre Class "Houri". It
would seem in fact that given the historical account
held at http://www.oldhabs.com/Obitos/Lincoln_FA.html
that she may even been his first yacht, at least after
joining the Royal Naval Reserve. He owned her for
two years prior to the outbreak of the Second World
War.
It may interest you to know that I have also had
recent contact with his son, David in New York.
