In issue 75, you published the picture (shown above in colour), an interesting article about Silas Hardoon. This is not the Hardoon home but the Hall of Culture and Friendship erected by the Soviets after the Hardoon garden was taken over by the Chinese government. A large Labour Ministry building was recently being constructed in another area on the site.
