After listening on the World Service to your correspondent from Amman in the early hours of Sunday, February 2 2003 I thought of writing to you.

For the past 80 years the Arabs have been trying to smother and then to destroy the Jewish State. Israel has not been trying to destroy the Arabs.

Israel wants to make peace with the Arabs. The Arabs do not want to make peace with Israel. America is not applying double standards and they are not hypocrites.

You are the hypocrites, by misleading your listeners.
